biography

Dr. Richard Stafford spends almost all his life in Bolzano, where he was born in 1911. Until the migration the family lives in Bolzano. He is stationed at the Italian military service as a soldier in Merano. He has to learn Italian, "Sottotenente", is a lieutenant. 1939, during the "Option", the whole family is torn apart. In 1949, he is a lawyer at the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, the secretary of state governor Dr. Magnago, the "Father of autonomy". He has a daughter and two sons. From 1976, he and his wife can enjoy another 22 years, the pension time before she dies 1989th. One of his passions is the fungi - Search. The yield on the "Brenner" is great.
